Romances are poetic and romantic little pieces in my new tranquil and reflective style, except track 11, which is a piece that I originally entitled ‘In Chopin’s Way.’ Actually, the secret about my harmonizations is no secret at all: it’s all based on Chopin, and from there, on Rachmaninov, and Scriabin, and from there again, extrapolated into the various styles of  piano jazz.
